I had always wondered if a modicum of success would spoil DKS.  Would Derek
the marginal game developer behave the way Derek the failed game developer
    behave?  It seems so.

Who cares, and why the frick would I care to read about this on the STRATEGIC
newsgroup.  I deleted it from the header, because the post was on there.
Derek, all the flaming you get on strategic.  Why post about your game and
    how it is doing?

By the way, rec.games.board crew, care if we have a swap?  Maybe Scott
Peterson could start spamming the PC games newsgroup, and Derek could spam
rec.games.board.  I think the change of scenery would do both good.

Apparently you are not familar with Scott Peterson.  He does the exact same
thing with his game (Pirateer), that you do with yours on strategic, that is
post a snippet promoting his game.  At least Scott’s game is more on-topic for
rec.games.board, because his is a boardgame.  But, if you followed any of the
threads on rec.games.board, you will see he comes under the similar fire that
    you come under on strategic.

I will leave it up to others to show the parallels between your post and his.
In the last round, Scott P dumped stats on how well his game is selling.

By the way, who made comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.strategic your place to promote
    your SPACE SIM?

I apologize, Richard. I didn’t know about the BC3K wars at the time, and
Derek seemed like such a nice guy, and I was drunk, and I needed the money.
I promise, I’ll never do THAT again, that’s for sure.
